Parkway Heights United Methodist Church is hosting a display of Biblical art from the Kindness Foundation's 'Art for Eternity' collection. The collection is made up entirely of pieces created by students aged 10 to 18 in Russia and Ukraine. The exhibit contains several Easter themed pieces as well as pieces depicting other scripture from the Bible. The collection will be on display at Parkway Heights, located at 2420 Hardy Street in Hattiesburg, MS, through April and may be viewed during regular office hours: From 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday and from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm on Friday.
Dr. Olga and Rev. Fred Lutsenko, Founder and President and Vice President of the Kindness Foundation, will travel to Mississippi from their home in Canada during the month of April. They will be available to speak to churches and small groups about our work distributing God's Word in former Soviet Republic countries, Russia, Ukraine and Latvia, from Sunday, April 15, 2018, through Wednesday, May 2, 2018. We are excited, once again, to invite you to join us for Birdies for Charity, through which we have raised nearly $340,000 over the past 15 years! Birdies for Charity is a fund-raising program designed to give participating charities the opportunity to generate contributions for their organization based on the number of “birdies” made by PGA TOUR Champions players during the 2018 Rapiscan Systems Classic or through a flat pledge amount. Individuals and/or corporations are invited to submit a pledge. All donations are tax deductible with100% of the donations going to the soliciting charity.
Dr. Olga and Rev. Fred Lutsenko of the Kindness Foundation were interviewed by Bert Harper on Exploring Missions for American Family Radio and spoke about how they came to believe in Jesus Christ. Their journey has taken them across several continents and through a multitude of situations in various cultures and under varying government and societal influences.
